About the prompting

I haven’t saved the final prompt (which consisted of a thread of modifications anyway).  And it didn’t entirely work out as I had wanted . 

I wanted an audience of aliens that looked like the little green aliens in Dan Simons’s Olympos/Ilium books. But my description of these aliens did not work, probably because there was nothing in GPT’s data that matched it. It can only generate images (or parts of images) that is has trained on—or so I surmise. When I used the words  “green” and  “aliens” all I got was cartoonish martians. Green skinned little people was as close as I could get. But at least I got an alien looking audience, and to that extent is was a success. 

I struggled with Abraham and his son in a realistic sacrificing pose. I also wanted his son to have a horrified expression, which I got. Some religious traditions have it that Abraham’s son went willingly, but there are lots of interpretations; some biblical scholars claim to have found traces of an earlier sacrificial story where Abraham was not interrupted and simply ended his bloody faithful job. 

The sacrifice took place on a mountain. However, as soon as I entered the word “mountain” into the prompt, I got mountains in the background as well. This background is not what I wanted, so, work in progress.
